  • Scientific name - Panthera tigris tigris

HABITAT

  • A large area with grass and trees. Also a pond, water fall or river at with a log that they can lay on.
  • The Bengal Tiger lives in mangroves, grasslands, subtropical and tropical rainforests. Three essential things it needs in its habitats is a water source, grass and trees.
  • abiotic factors my animal needs is Water, Sunlight, oxygen, rocks and dirt.

  • The Bengal Tiger helps balance the population of all the animals it preys on.

POPULATION

  • The Bengal Tiger prefers to live alone.
  • Some limiting factors for the Bengal Tiger is competition, poachers and disease.

ENERGY

  • The Bengal Tiger is a carnivore
  • The Bengal tigers primary food sources are buffalo, wild pigs and deer .
  • My animal is a quaternary consumer

BIOLOGICAL INTERACTIONS

  • The Bengal Tiger catches the Wild Pig and eats it.
  • Their is a symbiosis relationship between the Bengal tiger and fleas.
  • Some competition for the Bengal Tiger are Humans, Panthers, Wolves and Mountain lions.

ADAPTIONS

  • The Bengal tigers sharp claws help it latch on to its prey.
  • It also has stripes I it's fir which helps it camouflage in the grass during the day.
