• A=Can be disassembled far more easily.
• A=Generally cheaper than having to buy lots of traditional screws.
• A=Eco-Friendly and long tool life.
• D=Less storng than metal in terms of breaking. Can errode over time or loosen.

• A=Easily disassembled.
• A=Can be designed to take tension loads.
• A=Works with any material.
• D=Requires acess to both sides of the joint in order to be fixed.
• D=Can become quite loose and once can corrode (rust)

• A=Easy to fasten, remove or replace.
• A=Different types of heads possible, such as, straight cut, allen and star.
• A=Thread can be tightened and loosened.
• D=Can lead to wastage of material, needs threading and a cut on the head.
• D=Needs an external too.

• A=Can easily be put together, only requires a screw driver.
• A=Can be assembled and disassembled.
• A=Easy to do, no technological knowledge required.
• D=Sometimes not very stable when put up against other furniture.
• D=Not the best finish at the end.

• A=Water based, doesnt dry up too fast
• D=Takes a long time to dry as a result.
• D=Doesn't stand up to water or damp very well.

• A=Allows joining of pieces of material of any size.
• A=No deformation of material required.
• D=Not easily disassembled.
• D=Has limited stability to heat.
