EFFECT ON MY FAMILY

  • I'm sure it left a huge effect on his wife, my Aunt Margaret Pacheco. He was pronounced dead by the Government.
  • They had married right before the war had started, so they only spent a few months together before he had to leave. He wouldn't return to her until 6 years later.

EFFECT ON MY FAMILY PART 2

  • For the rest of my family it left a great effect on our impression of him as a person that we all look up to and thank for his sacrifice in the war.
  • It showed us what kind of a person he was made of and it's something that I know everyone else in my family strives to be like.
