What is fast food?

  • Fast food refers to food that can be served quickly. These foods generally contain a high number of calories but offer little or no nutritional value.

Negative Effects

  • People who regularly eat processed are 58 percent more likely to suffer from depression than those who eat a more balanced diet
  • Foods that are high in carbohydrates increase blood sugar levels and they may also trigger acne

Negative Effects

  • increases risk of diabetes, heart diseases, and some cancers
  • obesity - fast food is loaded with fat and calories

Negative Effects

  • When you eat foods high in carbs and sugar, bacteria in your mouth produces acids that are hard on your teeth. It can destroy tooth enamel, which leads to dental cavities.
  • contains high amounts of cholesterol and salt, two nutrients that contribute to cardiovascular health problems
