• Claimed to be abused
• Tinning later denied the abuse

PRECURSORS

• There was no evident precursors
• Fathers death could be one-but not evident(1971)

ADULT LIFE

• Low paying jobs
• Nurses aid
• Married Joe Tinning
• Started having children
• The children started dying of no health reasoning

NATURE OF CRIMES

• Nine victims
• Killed by smothering

TRIAL

• Had a trial in 1987

Behavior after being caught

• Known as unusual
• Acted confused
• Denied hurting any children
• Then admitted to killing Timothy, Nathan, and Tami
• But later denied she hurt any of her children

CHARGED

• Tinning was charged with 1st degree murder of Tammi
• Only child they had enough evidence to charge her with
• Was sentenced to 20 years

• Was denied parole 3 different times
• 1st-2007
• 2nd-2009
• 3rd-2011
• Currently still in jail
