PRESENTATION OUTLINE

What do we read?

Learning Target:
Determine what we do like to read to make us more successful motivated readers.

Why read???

  • Entertainment 
  • It helps with our writing.
  • It helps with our memory and our focus skills.
  • Knowledge- we learn from reading.
  • Our vocabulary grows. 

What do we read poster:
*Level 3 voices
*look at your partner, lean in, and listen
*Get to work right away

What do we read?

  • Each group will get a set of marker and a poster paper.
  • Compile a list of as many things as you can think of that we read.
  • What do you read at home? at school? computer? types of books?

Sharing out:
Limited talking. One person is going to be the leader and add to the large butcher paper. Raise your hand to get attention.
