SOCIAL STUDIES

I EARNED A GRADE OF

I EARNED THIS GRADE BECAUSE

• I used my time wisely and made sure I was correct on the questions.
• Because I listened to directions and checked over my work.
• I knew most of the facts that they told us.

MY GOAL FOR SECOND QUARTER IS

• Is to do the same things but maybe to study more for tests.
• To make sure to look over my paper on every lesson.
• To do everything that is on the paper and to do on the map.

I WILL TRY TO ACHIEVE THIS BY

• Studying more for tests when I hear about it.
• To do everything on the paper to do on the map.
• Looking over my answers on the paper or test.

WHAT I HAVE LEARNED

• That most of Canadians are city lovers.
• When Europeans first came to Canada it would take 500 years
• for other Europeans to come to Canada.
• That people from other countries and other places come to Canada

SCIENCE

I EARNED THIS GRADE BECAUSE

• I listened and I took my time to do my work.
• I made sure my work was mostly correct.
• I used my time wisely when I had the time to work.

MY GOAL FOR SECOND QUARTER IS

• To do the same thing but I need to work on maybe studying for test when they come out.
• To work harder than I did in the 1st quarter.
• Checking over every question and see if I missed anything.

I WILL TRY TO ACHIEVE THIS BY

• Studying for tests when the come out.
• To check over all of my answers to see if I got anything wrong.
• To work hard to do better than I did in the first quarter.

WHAT I HAVE LEARNED

• We learned a lot about vocab for more tests that are coming up.
• We learned about variables and what we can change in experiment.
• We also learned about the steps in the Scientific Method.

MATH

• Because I listened in class and checked over my work.
• I worked hard in class and tried to get the stuff I didnt get.
• I didn't study for quizzes and tests so need to work on that.

MY GOAL FOR SECOND QUARTER IS

I WILL TRY TO ACHEIVE THIS BY

• By studying for quzzes and tests to get a better grade.
• To maybe finish the work sheets from edmodo.
• To work even harder than I did in the 1st quarter.

WHAT I HAVE LEARNED

• I learned how to multiply decimals.
• I also learned about the distributed property.
• We learned how to get a closer estimate in rounding.

ENGLISH

• I Listened a lot but didnt really get it.
• I didnt study for spelling test as much.
• I didnt really study for tests or didnt take the time think about english.

MY GOAL FOR SECOND QUARTER

• I will study more for spelling tests.
• I will take more time to study and think about english more.
• And if theres a test coming up I will study for for now on.

I WILL ACHIEVE THIS BY

• Studying for spelling tests the day its given out.
• Studying for tests and putting more effort towards english.
• And thinking and concentrating more on english.

WHAT I HAVE LEARNED

• How to use a thesaurores for power flowers and find better words.
• And what the difference is between common and proper nouns.
• And how to make better sentences by changing the order of how you make the sentence.

READING

I EARNED THE GRADE OF

I EARNED THIS GRADE BECAUSE

• I didnt study for vocab as much.
• I didnt really read enough for AR.
• I didnt try hard enough to get a better grade.

MY GOAL FOR SECOND QUARTER

I WILL ACHIEVE THIS BY

• By reading more at home to get more points.
• To take my binder home and study for vocab.
• To stay focused and try harder in class.

WHAT I HAVE LEARNED

• I learned about who made democracy and when are goverment started.
• How ideas became laws and the process of making laws.
• We learned about a lot of vocab words.
