  • An active voice is when the subject of a sentence preforms the action
  • EXAMPLE: (active) Hazel was at the hospital.
  • (Passive) At the hospital was Hazel

PASSIVE SENTENCES

  • Passive voice is when the subject of the sentence has an action done to it by someone or something else.
  • EXAMPLE: (passive) The song was sung by Maria.
  • (Active) Maria sung the song
