The situation
A meteor crashed into a costa rican house , it is 4.5 billion years old and is a huge asset in science and geology.the meteor did not fully decompose on its way to earth through the atmosphere so a small part of it survived.Many scientists and geologists are currently studying it.

This article took place in Costa Rica in a womans house which it crashed into. This happened on april 23 2019 at 9:09 PM
What the author was doing
I could tell because they were not trying to entertain you with stories about the meteor or buy parts of the meteor.so they were explaining it.
Why its newsworthy
This article affects the world because it can provide an untold amount of information about the solar system and space.Also this is newsworthy because scientists from all over the world can study it and use it to apply to other studies involving space and geology.Others should care because this meteor can help bring the scientific community together to study this meteor.And also , because with this information they can use it in the future for other things.
Why i wrote about this
I chose to write about this topic because it caught my eye seemed interesting and i like space so this seemed interesting to research.
Geo lens
Using the geographic lens I can infer that this will really help with geology since it gives scientist a chance to study a rock from billions of years ago and study a meteor in depth.
