INTRODUCTION OF ME

I taught right out of college and shortly moved into an ALC position.

The district combine the schools and teachers low on seniority were cut first.

So I started running group homes for children with high behaviors, and loved it!

As my own kids grew to school age working evenings didn't work for me anymore, so...

I went back into schools as a Behavior Interventionist

After 7 years of that I now teach the Pride Program. Which is a school within a school program.

OUTCOMES

• Gain more leadership skills
• Gain an understanding of managing a school fiscally
• Improve communication and collaboration skills

My ultimate goal is to get a position as a Dean of Students or Assistant Principal dealing with the behavioral structure of the school.

Tuesdays and Thursdays are tough to meet because of my children's sports.
