Classroom Expectations

• Be ready - bring everything you need
• Be respectful - honor your teachers and classmates

Your Words Matter

• OMG - Do not take the lord's name in vain (Exodus 20:7)
• Gossip - slander, mockery, or denigration
• Complaining (Phil. 2:14/15)

Behavior Procedure

• Private conversation with you
• Go to the office or make a plan
• Get parents and Mrs. Sullivan involved

What you need everyday

• Binder
• Textbook/Novel
• Chromebook
• Chapter book

Coming into the room

• Enter quietly through either door
• Begin the bellwork/fill out your planner
• Turn in work if applicable
• Be seated and working when the bell rings

In the room

• Stay in your assigned seat
• Raise your hand to speak
• Don't have side conversations or blurt out
• Don't work on assignments from other classes

Exiting the room

• Clean up after yourself
• Arrange any furniture you have moved
• Wipe your desk down with a wipe

Work Turn In

• Place your paper in the correct tray
• Don't put it on my desk!
• Google classroom...sometimes

Grading Policy

Grading Policy

• All work is due at the beginning of the hour
• 10% will be deducted for each day late
• Unless stated, your work should be your own and completed independently

Missing or Absent Work

• No-name folder for both 7th and 8th
• Absent - See Mrs. Kragt (if requested) or check the absent folder.
