The novel “The Scarlet Letter” is an amazing book that puts us in the passenger seat of the life of a Mother and her young daughter in the times of the puritans. And my EQ is “How does a Mothers love help to face hardships”.The puritans are known for taking there religious beliefs very seriously, because of Hester’s crime of adultery she is publicly shamed and shunned by her community. Although this would be enough for most people to give up, for Hester that is not an option she has. Her motherly love for pearl is beyond imagination. And helps her to face all the bad things and negative views of her and her child.

I have learned from countryliving.com what the word of God has to say about the biblical and the strength that a mothers love holds. “Proverbs 31:25: "She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come."
