CHILDHOOD

  • Parents were: Johann and Maria Magdalena van Beethoven(2)
  • His job as a child was to wake up in the middle of the night and play the violin for his father and his cruel friends.
  • Siblings were: Ludwig Maria, Anna Maria Francisca, Franz Georg, Maria Margarita, Kaspar Anton Karl, and Nikolaus Johann(6)
  • His father was an alcoholic and a mean judgmental person which kind of transferred in to who Ludwig Van Beethoven is.

WHERE HE IS FROM

  • He was born in Bonn Germany and moved around a lot.
  • Vienna is where Beethoven remained for 35 years, through his worsening and ultimately total deafness, composing the entire time.
  • The composer moved more than 60 times while he lived there, and performed throughout the city at various theaters and halls—and sometimes in palaces.
  • He died in Vienna, Australia

INSTRUMENT

HE PLAYED THE PIANO AND THE VIOLIN AS A CHILD BUT THEN IN THE FUTURE HE JUST PURSUED THE VIOLIN.

  • He was actually the third Ludwig van Beethoven in his family
  • He studied with Mozart's teacher — Franz Joseph Haydn
  • He was unlucky in love
  • We don't really know why he became deaf
  • He died during a thunderstorm at age 56.

What I like about the opera Fidelio, is that was the only opera that Ludwig Van Beethoven wrote.
