Quote "Parvana watched in horror as the soldiers bent down to yank the things out of the bottom shelf. "Get out of my house!" She yelled. She threw herself at the soldiers with such force that they both fell to the ground."pg.32
Connection The part where Parvana told the soldiers to get out of her house reminded me of when I was at my old school and my friends and I were playing soccer. Then, the older kids decided that they wanted to kick us off the field we were playing on. We were not happy about that and told the other kids to get off our field. Finally they left and we kept on playing.
Quote, ''I'm here for my husband!" Mother cried. Over and over Parvana and her mother kept yelling out their mission. More and more men kept came to stare at them. "Be quiet!" One of the guards yelled."
Quote, "The lesson learned, my daughters," he looked from one to the other," is that Afghanistan has always been the home of the bravest girls in the world. You are the brave women. You are the all inheritors of the courage of Malali."
Quote, "Instead of just sitting there, you could come and help us over here." Mother and Nooria were cleaning out the cupboards again. "You cleaned the cupboards three days ago!" "Are you going to help us or not?"
