IMPORTANT FEATURES

  • Get their needs from a host.
  • Their little teeth to cut out of their host.
  • No digestive system.
  • Must have infected more then one host to have completed its life.
  • Parasites eat their hosts nutrients, food and energy to survive.

WHERE THEY LIVE

  • Parasites live in what is called a "host". A host can be any animal.
  • Parasites survive because they stay inside a host and take their resources.
  • Such as food, and energy the host consumes in.

HAZARDS

  • Parasites can make people have bad teeth
  • Cause death
  • Infection
  • Tapeworms can cause abdominal pains swellings, cramps and weight loss.
  • Small parasites are more dangerous

HOW IT REPRODUCES

  • There are two types of parasites: large and small.
  • Large reproduction: these can be seen with a naked eye. It lays it's eggs on the intestinal wall.
  • Once they hatch, they feed on our digested food.
  • Small reproduction: usually microscope, they function like bacteria by traveling through the bloodstream.
  • to any place of the body. These don't lay eggs and like bacteria they duplicate themselves in an asexual way.

BENEFITS

  • Parasites can help fight off human allergic reactions
  • Some parasites can help decay
  • Show how long people have been dead
  • Parasites can keep the immune system occupied, since it is so used to fighting off parasites,
  • If there was none it would fight off the wrong thing.
