THE MEKONG RIVER

  • The mekong river is important for people in Vietnam because people live along the river. There is a lot of agriculture like fields,gardens,etc. people also work in or on the river fishing

MOUNT. FANSIPAN

  • Mount Fansipan is a mountain in Vietnam in the mountain range called Hoang Lein Son. It is used in Vietnam for hiking and down at the bottom there are some fields and gardens for food.

THE RED RIVER

  • The Red River starts in china and goes down the coast and passes through Hanoi and then down through most of Vietnam. The Red River is used for fishing and for planting gardens around it so people have water in their crops.
  • People also use the river to wash their clothes in because a lot of people in Vietnam dont have a washing machine

  • Pho noodle soup is a mixture of soup and vegetables and sometimes pork is put into it.

  • Rau Muong also known as River Weed. Is similar to an eggroll but has a lot of meat in them. Also unlike am eggroll they have seaweed wrapped around it.

  • Vietnamese independence day is the celebration of the day that Vietnam gained its independance.

  • It is most commonly worn by women and in modern day they are very tight and made of silk worn for special occasions like weddings funerals or royalty.

  • Non la's are used by men and women in Vietnam when in fields or working outside to keep the sun out of their face to stay cool.
