History

• FHA was founded in June of 1945
• The orginal name for FCCLA was FHA
• FHA was changed to FCCLA in July of 1999

Mission

• TO promote personal growth and leadership development through Family and Consumer Sciences Eucation. Focusing on the multiple roles of family member,wage earner, and community leader, members develop skills for life through character deveopment, creative and critical thinking, interpersonal communication, practical knowledge, and career preparation.
