Claim
- People should not be allowed to get married until they are 18.
FOUR PIECES OF EVIDENCE THAT SUPPORT MY CLAIM
- You never know where your career might take you, you could be working at Mc'Donalds or you could've become famous with the time you wasted trying to grow up so fast.
CLAIM SUPPORT
- You won’t know how to be alone or take care of yourself , single years in your twenties are when you learn how to be alone scientifically proven.
CLAIM SUPPORT
- Marriage can make your taxes go up. Let's say you got married at 14, You have know idea what your getting yourself into, or if you can get out of it.
CLAIM SUPPORT
- You really wouldn't know who you would want as a partner and divorce is one of the worst experiences anyone could possibly go through.
COUNTERCLAIM / COUNTERARGUMENT
- Someone might say that people should be allowed to get married whenever they want because it's a free country or it's their choice and that's 100% true but here is why I disagree.
REBUTTAL
- As anyone else says,"It is hard. It involves enormous sacrifices that most people at this age, or any age, could never put effort making." Says the girl who tried to move on with her life way to young.
CLOSING STATEMENT
- This is why I feel like marriage should not be allowed until your 18 years old.
