Bagby Toilets Bagby's toilets aren't very efficient. They can be replaced with Dual- Valve Toilets. They use 1.1 gallons per flush for liquid waste, and for solid, 1.6. That saves half a gallon per flush! What we have now uses 1.6 gpf.
Bagby Sinks The school's sinks don't do anything to conserve water. To make things worse, kids are leaving the faucets running unnecessarily. It might not seem like a lot of waste, but it is. We suggest hooking up a hose to the sink pipes, so the extra water can be used to water the field.
Bagby Water Fountains At Bagby, the average amount that a kid wastes is 80-100 ml. per drink. If you multiply 100 ml by 700 students, that would mean more than 70,000 ml goes to waste per day. The solution is to be water wise, and educate people by putting up posters.
Also, we are going to raise the money in our neighborhoods for Bagby's new toilets(if we plan to get them) by selling books and other items at friendly prices.
