WHAT IS IMPORTANT IN EGYPT BESIDES THE NILE RIVER

• The pyramids are the third most Important in Egypt.
• The first most important is a Pharaoh because they are rulers.
• The second most important is the pharaohs helpers

HOW EGYPT USES THEIR SALT

• They dried pharaohs bodies with a salt mixture called natron.
• Natron is made up of four different salts
• After they dry out the bodies with the salt they mummy fye them

HOW DOES THE DESERT HELP YOU WITH BUILDING

• It helps with attacks from the east.
• Deserts in Egypt had sand storms so the east side army would get caught up if they attract.
• When the east side would stave and die in side the sand storm.

TIMBER/WOOD

• Egypt did not have any great forest and nor many tall tree's
• The native timber was mostly low on quality and could only be cut in short planks.
• Hard wood like ebony wood was found in Egypt and Africa .

STEPS TO MAKING PAPYRUS PAPER!!!!

• Step one:obtain the papyrus plant.
• Step two:cut the tip of the papyrus with a pruner.
• Step three:peel away the outer layer of the papyrus plant.
• Step four:cut up the remaining inner papyrus plant layer.
• Step five:place the papyrus plant strips (pith) n a bowl of water.

STEPS TO MAKING A PAPYRUS PAPER!!!!

• Step six:lay the papyrus plant strips(pith) on a hard,flat surface.
• Step seven:prepare a dry sheet of linen cloth,or felt.
• Step eight:lay the strip on the cloth.
• Step nine:cover the papyrus strip with the second sheet of linen cloth.
• Step ten:place the bundle between 2 wooden boards and press together.

• STEP ELEVEN:USE THE ROLLING PEN TO FLATTEN OUT
• THE PAPYRUS SHEET A FEW TIMES ONCE IT HAS FINISHED DRYED
