The school seemed like a museum with the marble floors and big halls

The main character is Melba Pattillo
Melba is a quite thoughtful girl who controls her actions.

The climax of the story is when minijean pours chili on the white student.
That incident sparked the white kids into trying harder to get the negroes out.

RESOLUTION
The story is resolved when one of the 9 children graduates.
Them finishing the school year without being killed shows segregation is possible

EXPOSITION
The story is concluded with the 9 children returning to the school.
Upon their return they are greeted by the student president who is black.

SUMMARY
Warriors don't cry is about a group of 9 black children.
In the story these children go through a horrible ordeal of attacks.
The children's goal is to make segregation possible.

MELBA'S WHITE FRIEND
Melba meets a guy called link who rescues her from a attack.
Link gives Melba his car for her to get away from her attackers.
Link continues to help her by warning her of future attacks.

Melba must overcome the attacks of the whites
Melba is attacked physically and verbally

OVERALL THEME
The theme of this book is that segregation should have never have had to happen

OPINION
This was a good book because it shows the power of segregation
