Sage Architecture designed this sustainable forest home in the mountains of Truckee, California to blend with its beautiful surroundings in a unique way perfectly suited for its owner.
Known as the “Flight House,” as the owner sees the mountain home as their escape from the dredges of city life.
It uses a sweeping roof line which seems ready to soar off into the sky above.
Floor to ceiling windows offer unmatched views while the home’s owner works or reflects.
To display the owner’s artwork, some walls have been painted white to serve as backdrops.
