The battle of Argonne forest took place at the Argonne forest in France September 26 through November 11 1918

The battle was between America and France on one side and on the other Germany

The leader of the allies for this battle was General John J Pershing and the leader of the Germans for this battle was General Georg von der Marwitz

This battle was important to the allies because it destroyed their defenses and ended the war

The U.S. Had over 600,000 troops at this battle

The allies had a total of 188,000 casualties while Germany had 100,000

The allies won the battle against Germany and ended the war

At the battle of Argonne forest they used tanks, machine guns, grenades, and mines
