HISTORY

  • Has been grown for more than 2000 years
  • Was first used in medicine before cooking

Parsley is grow in Mediterranean regions such as Italy, Algeria and Tunisia.

Parsley is best grown in moist soil. Usually grown from a seed and spaced 10cm.

Parsley is used for the leaves as a garnish and can be made into salads as a whole. Roots are also used.

Parsley is used in salads, spices and as a garnish.

Source has antioxidants and contains vitamin C and A.

1. Large amounts of parsley should not be consumed by pregnant women because it causes complications in the uterus.

Parsley has been grown for more than 2000 years.
