  • The sun or stars hit the panels, electrons flow into an inverter and other electronic safety devices.
  • This source can be used for lighting, cooking, heating water, or other fluids.

EXAMPLES OF HOW ITS USED AND EFFECTS ON THE ENVIRONMENT.

  • An example is clothes washer & dryer, heating hot water for the bath, powering the oven, and more.
  • It effects our environment by, giving us electricity to use things that can help our environment and help us live safely.

IF USED TODAY. WHY OR WHY NOT.

  • It is rarely used today. It's still used though.
  • It isn't used that often anymore because, they are blocking it.
  • Also solar panels are expensive, and global warming.

POSITIVES AND NEGATIVES ABOUT SOLAR POWER.

  • Positive, Its not like other electricity It is a free and it will collect and energy for you throughout the life.
  • Negative, to power an entire building, a large solar array is required. You can't use small ones.
  • Negative, only works when sun is shining.
  • You don't need just sun, I learned stars are another way to power solar energy.
