A honey bee is any bee member of the genus Apis,it is primarily distinguished by the production of honey and the construction of perennial, colonial nests from wax.

A Honey Bee's location or habitat is located in a forest or a field.

A Honey Bee's main prey is Nectar, Pollen, and Honey. But their predators are birds, rodents, reptiles , and insects.

Honey bees are keystone species in their environment . A keystone species is a species that has a role in an ecosystem. Honey bees are involved in the process of pollination which is one of the primary ways plants reproduce

A honey bee visits 50 to 100 flowers during a collection trip.

A colony of bees consists of 20,000-60,000 honey bees and one queen. Worker honey bees are females, live for about 6 weeks and do all the work.

Larger than worker bees , the male honey bees which are called drones, they have no stingers and do no work at all. All they do is mate. Before winter or when they become low on food , female honey bees usually force surviving males out of the nest.
