The Great Depression:
The Stock Market Crash Many Americans lost money because they had invested in businesses that collapsed and they had to sell daily valuables.

Joblessness Spreads
Many Americans had lost so much money that they couldn't pay for bills and had to live on the streets or live in a farm.

The Dust Bowl

In the 1930s farming spread to widely and caused water to get soaked up and it caused many crops to die. It also sent dust flying everywhere.

The New Deal

FDR came up with the idea and of the New Deal and it raised taxes on wealthy people. The first one was denied and voted out by congress.
