  • Thicker coats (a small undercoat and a bigger overcoat)
  • Also shorter, more rounded ears to prevent heat loss
  • Paws are thick padded
  • Shorter muzzle to prevent heat loss as well

BODY STRUCTURE

  • Legs are shorter to help retain body heat

3.HUNTING

  • Rodents (like the lemming)
  • Arctic Hare
  • Caribou and Oxen (if the wolves are inland)
  • Seabirds and seals (if the wolves live closer to the ocean)
  • Arctic Foxes

EXTRAS THAT HELP

  • Eyes are bown instead of yellow or amber to protect their eyes from glare
  • Also, an arctic wolfs coat also helps with protecting the wolf from rain

  • They stay away from the polar bear
