WHAT IT IS

  • This takes away from what most people think regularly about technology. Most people think off the cuff that it's our phones and our laptops, but what we might use it for and what it can be used for are two completely different things

DISADVANTAGES OF TECHNOLOGY

  • One of the main disadvantages is the abuse of technology. Nowadays a lot of people would rather be on their phone or their Xbox instead of talking to their friends irl.
  • There are many things on the internet which young kids on the Internet can be exposed to that's completely not suitable for their age.

  • It can also lead to people leading a fake life. Putting up stuff on social media that really isn't true to themselves just to try and impress people who don't know them
  • Cyberbullying is also one of the prevalent issues for people of my generation

ADVANTAGES

  • People wonder why science is advancing so much in recent years. It's because we haven't had a religion holding us back all these years and to say that it can't be done. This results in a flair of technology from space travel to being able to communicate anywhere in the world with people

  • Medicine has always been vital for obvious reasons and with the advance in technologies more people are being treated for diseases such as tb and measles which were incurable years ago.
  • People also have longer life expectancies as a result

  • My personal opinion
  • I think that technology is brilliant but we need to learn to use it more productively so that we see the best results from it
