MUTUALISM

  • When each organisms benefit from each other
  • The bird eats the bugs off the deer
  • The deer gets clean while the bird eats

  • The sea anemone gets protected
  • The clown fish gets a nice place to hide and live

COMMENSALISM

  • When one organism benefits but the other doesn't seem to care
  • The turtle gets a ride from the hippopotamus but the hippopotamus doesn't care

Commensalism

  • The moss gets a place to grow without hurting the tree

PARASITISM

  • When a parasite gets nutrients from a host and the host gets harmed
  • The cat gets harmed from the heart worm while the heart worm gets the nutrients it needs to survive

PARASITISM

  • The tick gets the blood it needs to survive from its host while it's host loses the blood it needs to survive
  • Most ticks Cary diseases so the host could get really really sick
