ANNAPOLIS

I am the mayor of Annapolis, Maryland.
Today I am going to tell you what great restaurants and tourist attractions we have right hear in Annapolis.

THINGS TO DO FOR FAMILIES WITH YOUNG CHILDREN :

• The Chesapeake Childrens Museum- there are many different rooms which toys, activities, and exhibits
• The Chesapeake Pirate Adventures- you and you kids can dress up and go be a pirate
• Green Street Playground- is a great playground for a warm day

THINGS TO DO WITH OLDER CHILDREN :

• Mission Escape Rooms- try to escape the room, there are many different rooms that you can choose from
• Annapolis Summer Garden Theater- there are many different shows to whatch
• Annapolis Kayaking- go kayaking and explore the bay
• Navy Football games- go and watch are local team play football

THINGS TO DO AS A COLLEGE STUDENT OR SINGLE:

• Mitchell Art Gallery- is a historic art gallery that is located in St. John’s college
• U.S. Naval Academy Museum- where there is a reminder of are peoples fighting for our country
• Annapolis Tours by Watermark- here you can explore the water and more
• Shopping- there are many different shops here in Annapolis

THINGS TO AS A ELDER:

• Visit the State House- where you can go visit and see where our state makes laws
• Charles Carrol House- home of Charles Carroll the Settler, first Attorney General of Maryland
• Towne Transport tours- these tours are great if you have never been to town
• St. Marys Church- is a Catholic Church

THINGS TO DO WHEM MARRIED:

• Paca House and Garden- was built by William Paca, one of Maryland’s four Signers of the Declaration of Independence
• Walk around Annapolis City dock- there are shops, restaurants, and a water front view
• The James Brice House- who was a member of Maryland’s Government council

• Chicken Ruth’s- all sorts of food
• Iron Roster- breakfast food
• Lewnes- steakhouse
• The Boat Yard- bar and grill
• McGarvey’s- tavern and food

PARKS

• Quiet Waters Park- in the winter there is ice skating and in the summer spring and fall there is trails and playgrounds
• Truxton park- there are trails, rock climbing, and a bunch of different sports feilds
• Jones Green Park- there are playgrounds and trails

BEST TIME TO VIST:

• The Spring and Fall when the U.S. Sailboat and Powerboat show is going on
• In March when we have the St. Patrick’s Day Parade
• Sometime in May when the Blue Angles come
• Every Sunday in spring there is an Art Festival
