  • Over time things changed because of the discoveries, Ideas, and events that happened during the Enlightenment and the 19th century.
  • The discoveries of Issac Newton involving science and mathematics, John Locks beliefs, and the revolution changed the lives of many people during this period of time.

Part 2

issac Newton

  • Newton did not only invent calculus, gravity, and the three laws of motion he also helped prove the model of earth and the planets around it.
  • Newtons ideas about the universe became one of the seeds for Enlightenment ideology.

John Lock

  • Locks ideas influnced on the development of Political Philosophy, and he is one of the most influential early Enlightenment thinkers.
  • “Locke believes in the natural rights of life, liberty, and property beginning the liberal tradition.”

French Revolution 1789

  • The french revolution was the climax of the high Enlightenment.
  • Its vision was to through out old authorities and remake society, but became a bloody terror.
  • This became a huge part of the Enlightenment that changed lives
