Jim Morrison is most famous for being the lead singer for the 60’s rock band The Doors

Many people consider Morrison to be on of the most influential and iconic frontmen in all of music because of his distinct voice, poetic lyrics, and his wild performances and personality.

Morrison’s family moved around when he was younger due to his fathers military background, but other than that lived a fairly normal childhood. Although his father told him to quit music after The Doors first album came out because he thought it was a waste of talent.

Morrison got into drinking heavily and regularly in his early twenties as well as doing many other drugs such as cocaine and heroin.
