St. Timothy
He was the first-century bishop of Ephesus. Born in 17 A.D., he was from the city of Lystra. His fest day is January 26.

St. Bathildes
She was an Englishwoman sold into slavery in France. She was loyal to her master and became head of the household. After the death of her husband, she was made regent of the kingdom. During her reign, she promoted piety and made hospitals and religious places.

She was martyred in Sicily during the persecution of Emperor Decius. She is the patron saint of fighting breast disease, foundry workers and nurses.

Saint Paul Miki
He was a Jesuit who was born in the year 1565 in Japan. He was a successful teacher and entered into the Society of Jesus. He was also the first Martyred person to be Japanese.

Born into royalty, she was thrown out by her father. She was forced into an arranged marriage. When her husband took the thrown, they split and she started her own order.
