GEOGRAPHY

  • Includes:Utah, Nevada, Colorado, California, Idaho Wyoming, Oregon
  • dry, desert heat, snowy winters
  • little amount of crops,
  • salty, plants have little tolerance

  • people w horses had more people in their families but they didnt form tribes
  • families hunted together, lived in tepees

POST-COLOMBIAN LIFESTYLE

  • After 10 years of the European settling, a reservation was established
  • Europeans made schools to improve the edu
  • limited the resources of the reservation
  • maintained most of their religion and culture
