INFORMATION

  • Easter Eggers are not a breed per se, but a variety of chicken that does not conform to any breed standard but lays large to extra large eggs that vary in shade from blue to green to olive to aqua and sometimes even pinkish. Easter Eggers vary widely in color and conformation and are exceptionally friendly and hardy.
  • They lay 200-280 eggs a year!
  • Easter Egger roosters are mean and aggressive!
  • Lays large to extra large eggs.
  • Egg colors range from light blue,sea-foam green,dark green,and pink.
  • You can buy Easter egger chickens at your local farm store.
  • Mainly used for eggs
  • Developed in Chile
  • Have ear tufts and no tail because they are rumpless.
  • Can be about 5lbs for roosters and hens are about 4lbs
