PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS

  • They are yellowish brown and they are very big.
  • They are shaped like snakes but a lot bigger.
  • The moray eel has two jaws one in it’s mouth and one in it’s throat.
  • The smallest moray eel is probably Anarchias leucurus which attains a maximum length of 11.5cm.

ADAPTATIONS

  • Their camouflage colouring helps them blend in with their surroundings and ambush prey.

WHAT’S IT’S HABITAT?

  • Marine biome, the biggest biome in the world.
  • It Covers 70% of the world.
  • Marine is very salty.
  • Marine biome is 36,200 feet deep.
  • The water is VERY cold.
