The Blackpoll is limited to Massachusetts due to the lack of its habitat. The Blackpoll Warblers preferred habitat is stunted spruce-fir forest

Blackpoll Warblers will conceal themselves behind foliage and when an insect passes by it will dart out and capture it almost like a flycatcher.

The main cause of decline to the Blackpoll Warbler is any manipulation of the breeding grounds.

One thing you can do is put out bird feeders. That way they don't have to do a long life-searching journey to find food.
