EMERGENCY AT THE BEACH

If your ever in an emergency at the beach and your having a little trouble in the water here are some instructions.

STEP 1

• KEEP CALM! Don't use all your energy up by splashing around.

STEP 2

• Stick your hand up but don't wave it around because people won't think your in trouble.
• .

STEP 3

• Tread water until someone comes and gets you.

If You see the person in the water

• Grab anything like an empty plastic bottle or a chilly bin.
• Swim over to them but not to close because they might put you in risk by pulling you down or trying to hang on to you.
• Give them the thing you brought and give it to them as a flotation device.

• When you bring them to shore call 111 and get an ambulance if they are unconcious and need an ambulance.

STEP 4

• Stick them in a recovery position if they are in a bad condition.
• Try and do CPR if you know how to do it and if they need it.
