PRESENTATION OUTLINE

Democracy: A form of government where the citizens hold the power. Making choices themselves or choosing representatives to make choices for them.

I chose this picture because these people are having the right to chose for what they believe is right.

Direct Democracy: A form of government where the citizens vote on all of the decisions made by government.

This is a picture of a French vote counter and I chose this picture because the citizens are allowed to chose what happens in the government so what the decisions are and what happens.

Parliamentary Democracy: A form of government where citizens elect representatives to make decisions for them, and the representatives elect someone to carry out the decisions.

I chose this image because she is the prime minister of England. The prime minister was not allowed to be elected by the people but the representatives.

Presidential Democracy: A form of government where the citizens elect representatives and elect the person who will carry out the decisions.

I chose this picture because it is a picture of Obama and the citizens elected him to be our president and for him to carry out decisions of what our laws are and what he does.

Monarchy: A system of government where one person is born into the role of making all of the decisions for a nation (king or queen)

This is a picture of Queen Elizabeth she is an example of a monarchy because shes ruling and making the decision for England

Dictatorship: A system of government where one person controls the decision making through the military and police.

I chose this picture because this person is controlling these military people to do their orders.

Theocracy: A government that is headed by religious leaders.

Moses ruled Israelites through everything. And I chose this picture because he was a religious leader for a religious government.

Single-Party State: A nation where by law only one political party is allowed to rule.

Xi jinping is the ruler of China you. In China there is no other sort of government you can rule for or follow.

Unitary: A political system where all power is controlled by one central government.

France is one example of a country that has a single controlling government that makes there decisions and laws.

Federal: A political system where power is shared between one central and local governments.

I chose this image because the laws are forced throughout the federal government and each state has some power that they control. So the power lines represent the shared portion of it and how the share the power.

Confederal: A political System where power is mainly controlled by local governments.

I chose this picture because lights is controlled by power so I did a metaphor of light to power and the government controls power not the actual light but what goes on around here.

Market Economy: An economic system that relies on markets to control the price of goods and services.

I chose this picture because it is a picture of a market and the market economy is controlled by income of these market so they can provide goods and services.
