On August 6, 1945, at 8:15 AM, the Bomb "Little Boy" was dropped on Hiroshima

CASUALTIES

  • 70,000 - 80,000 people were killed in the blast and 70,000 were injured, totalling in at 150,000.
  • people who managed to survive the initial blast could be seen running away from their homes and would collapse in the road and die.
  • Radiation sickness, once infected had a 93% mortality rate
  • Shape od the land affected casualty rate
  • Geography of the land affected casualties as well. Hiroshima was a flat delta so the blast spread out
