Standardized tests aren't really important because they aren't an actual grade. This argument has been questioned for years.
Standardized tests dont matter to students success because it causes more stress and anxiety then help, it's more of a "grade" for the school then it is for you and they aren't an accurate measure of intelligence.
I don't think they matter because they don't show anything a regular test in class can't.
