WHEN AND WHERE WAS I BORN

  • May 29, 1917
  • Brookline, Massachusetts

MY CHILDHOOD

  • I’m the second of my parents nine children.
  • My dad was an Irish American businessman.
  • I had scarlet fever and deadly illness when I was two-and-a-half years old.

COLLEGE AND EDUCATION

  • I attended Princeton University.
  • Then I went to Harvard University.
  • After I graduated from Harvard University, I went to Stanford University for graduate studies.

WAR HERO

  • Me and my brother wanted to fight in world war ll, my brother was immediately accepted as naval air cadet.
  • I saved someone from drowning during the war, then I got rescued and got sent home.

BECAME PRESIDENT

  • My family stayed up till night and my results came, I got elected for the 35th president in the United States.
  • I’m the first Catholic president .
  • And the youngest ever elected(43 years old.)
  • I was disappointed by the narrow victory. I won 49.7 percent of the vote, compared to Richard Nixon’s’ 49.6 percent.

JOHN F. KENNEDY’S DEATH

  • I was assassinated on November 22, 1963 in Dallas, Texas.
  • My death was held in Parkland Memorial Hospital.
  • My body is buried in Arlington National Cemetery.

FUN FACTS ABOUT JOHN F. KENNEDY

  • I made a study about why England wasn’t prepared for the war and I gave it to my dad to read it and left a note with it and it said it represents more work than I’ve done in my life. My dad read it and he said it was so good that he contacted a book publisher, the publisher published my writing. The book got published in July 1940. The book title is Why England Slept.
  • I received an award of presidential medal of freedom.
  • I was dead for 56 years.
