Early life
- She became the editor of her junior high paper.
- Pam knew her admiration for books after high school.
- After college she became a billingual teacher.
- Pam went back to school to pursue a higher degree to focus in teaching Childrens Literature.
The journey

Not giving up
- Pam submitted many manuscripts to childrens publishers and no luck.
- After so may no and rejections Pam did not give up.
- She met Kendra Marcus from Bookstop Literary Agency, which became her publisher.
Her first published book was,One Hundred Is A Family, published in 1994.
Motivation
- She was motivated to try writing novels and to her surprise she was very sucessful.
- Her motivation for the reader to continue to read the book turn the page is her motivation to continue writing.
- This is her favorite motto:
“I am a reader, writer, author, and pilgrim. Every book is a journey.”
