WHATS A TORNADO?

  • A tornado is a whirling area of air moving really fast.
  • Tornadoes are big forces of air formed together making a tornado.
  • A tornado can be rated by a Fujita scale.

HOW DOES IT FORM?

  • Tornadoes form from thunderstorms.
  • Tornadoes form from warm and moist air and from cool dry air.
  • When warm and cold air meet they create a tornado.
  • Tornadoes form by the wind moving in different speeds or different directions.

WHERE DO THEY OCCUR?

  • Tornadoes mostly form in places like Canada.
  • They also form in the Gulf of Mexico.
  • And at last they are found in the Great Plains of Central United States.
