Co-teaching is defined as two teachers working together with a group of students -- sharing the planning, organization, delivery and assessment of instruction, as well as the physical space

• a less rigorous student teaching experience
• simply dividing tasks and responsibilities
• when one person teaches and the other sits and watches
• when one person's ideas prevail regarding what and how things are taught
