General Jeb Stuart went to West Point university and grew up in Virginia.

In 1861 Jeb Stuart resigned from the United States Army and joined the CSA.

He got nominated for cavalry commander in 1861 all the way through his death in 1864

During the battle of Shennnenndoah he was cavalry General.

Jeb Stuart had a good reputation. But was late for the battle of Gettysburg, he arrived on the 2nd day. Some people blamed him for the loss of Gettysburg.

At the battle of Spottsilvania Jeb Stuart died. His own soldiers shot him on accident when he got of his horse.

FUN FACTS

  • Jeb Stuart's real name is James Ewell Brown Stuart. That's how he got the initials J.E.B
  • Because Jeb Stuart was late to the battle of Gettysburg he ruined his reputation.
