  • Only Carbon and Silicon can form bonds with Non-Metals
  • Silicon is in semiconductors in computer chips and solar cells
  • Tin used to be used to make cans, like soup cans.

  • Silicon is found in nature. It also can be found in Quartz, and Quartz is found in sand.
  • Tin used to be made in cans and pipes.
  • Lead can sometimes still be used in pigments and paint.

  • It is a blueish white color
  • It has lustor
  • Its soft and malleable
  • Lead is not a good conductor of electricity.
