WHAT IS CROHN'S DISEASE?

• A inflammatory bowel disease that affects the lining of the digestive tract.

CAUSES:

• Malfunctioning immune system
• Genetics
• Enviorment

SYMPTOMS:

• Diarrhea
• Fever and fatigue
• Abdominal pain and cramping
• Blood in stool
• Mouth sores
• Reduced appetite and weight loss
• Perianal disease

DIAGNOSIS

• Blood tests (fecal occult blood test)
• Procedures (Mri, CT, colonoscopy, etc.)

TREATMENT

• Medication
• Diet and nutrition
• Surgery
