PRESENTATION OUTLINE

Salad first starts in the mouth. The teeth mechanically break it down. The tongue, saliva, and enzymes helps also break Dow into smaller pieces.

When you swallow the broken down salad is in your esophagus to go down to your stomach.

The broken down salad is in your stomach for it to be mechanically broken down and churn.

The stomach salad then goes into the small intestine. This is where most of the breaking down is. A lot of enzymes are here.

When the small intestine is done most of the water is still there. That's when the large intestine comes in and takes most of the water.

Last is when the large intestine is done and the waste exits the body through the anus.
